Partner Museums

The biannual Blickachsen exhibition series was established in 1997 by the gallerist Christian K. Scheffel. Since the second Blickachsen in 1999, he has curated each exhibition jointly with a different partner museum of international standing, reflecting Blickachsen’s creative aim of provoking dialogue and mediating perspective change in the exhibition of modern sculpture. This commitment continues to this day, and is integral to the continuing success of the Blickachsen exhibition series.
